On Friday I left school early around 11:30 to go to Auckland with my mum and my auntie Sarah. Around 1pm we left and at 5pm we were at my great Nana’s house. We stayed there for a night and then the next day we drove up to Sylvia Park for a shopping spree. We were meeting my cousin Shannon at the food court and when we met her she had a really fat ankle. When we asked her what she did she said that the night before around one two o’clock her and her friend thought that they might go to McDonald’s and my cousin was wearing sandals when she fell over. When we had finished eating we went to the information centre to see if there was a doctors anywhere near. The lady took as to the doctors and I got to push my cousin in a wheelchair to the doctors. After we took her to the doctors me, my mum, and my untie went to have a look around some shops but in the end we didn’t get to look around any shops because I wanted to go make a teddy bear at the teddy factory. After I made my teddy we went to find my cousin she was looking everywhere for us. We found her in a Supre shop looking at clothes. After we took her to the car we went to my other great nanas place were I got to play with three dogs and one cat. While we were there my mum got a txt from my cousin saying that she had two fractures in her foot. That night we stayed in a backpackers it wasn’t a very nice place. For tea that night we went to Denny’s, my mum and untie thought it was gross but I liked it so much. On Sunday after a long day shopping we finally arrived home.

On Saturday the 30th of August the netball girls had their final game. My team the TAI Force were up against the Pekerau Jaguars. Our games was very hard but in the end the Jaguars won by two point. Overall the score was 14 12 to of course the Jaguars. In the last quarter our coach told us we had to win this for one very important member, our centre Hayley. At the prize giving the Jaguars got lollies, a black bag and I think they got medals while my team got a candle each. The candles each smelled of vanilla but I think they don’t smell that nice. My coach has two other teams as well as my team one is called the TAI Soldiers and the other is called the Pokuru Hotshots. The TAI Soldiers came second in their grade and the Hotshots came first.

For the second week of the holidays I am going up to my untie Sarah’s house it is going to be so cool! She lives on a farm up in the king country. On Friday I had netball practise it was ok. After we had done some practising we played a team from Te Awamutu Intermediate. On Saturday my team the TAI Force had a game of netball so did all the other teams. We played a team called the force to but they were a different team. Even though we lost I still think we palyed really good. After netball my gratgrand parnets took me to Elbert Park because there was a bagpipe  contest. I don’t really know much about it because I didn’t get until the end. The Te Awamutu band came 4th which is pretty good I think. When I got there all the bands that had turned up were playing together it was so cool. My two friends where there to because there dad was playing. The bands were so good!!!! It was a really fun day to bad I didn’t get to wacth it all!!

On the 25th of April I went with my grandad and the Te Awamutu Highland pipe band to Otorohanga for the Anzac Day parade at 1o am. It was a very long parade and heaps of people talked as well as a high-school student. At the end of the ceremony a lot of people put really cool wreaths on the monument. On the way up and down they played The Brown Haired Maiden, The Green Hills of Tyrol, When the battle is Over, Scotland the Brave and lots lots more. About 12pm we left for Kawhia and it was kind of the same except it wasn’t as long as Otorohangas one. At the start when they were getting warmed up there was a group of kids listening and going up and then running away because it was to loud for them. My grandad and Kathy said even if I am not playing next year I can still walk with because I will have my uniform. After we got back to Te Awamutu we went to the R.S.A to play a few tunes and have tea. After the band played I met grandads sister she is really cool. It was such a fun day I cant wait till next year when I’m playing with them.
